Responsibilities:

Own and execute merchandising assortment, store planning and allocation for GA retail stores.

Maximize retail product assortments utilizing sales analytics to sell thru and full price selling.

Own retail product selling reports and analytics; generate weekly sales recap and seasonal hindsight.

Weekly review of product performance. Collaborate with stores on hits and misses, opportunities and risks. Present to leadership findings, observations and recommendations.

Manage the retail inventory flow based on store capacity and the open to buy. Create and manage collaborative partnerships with: planning, merchandising and store leadership. Drive data-based decisions on receipt flow and capacity ensuring goal objectives are achieved.

Ability to be a product expert and ensure the stores are educated seasonally with product knowledge.

Weekly store allocation/replenishment driven from stores sales and capacity.

Collaborate with logistics to ensure store receipts and returns are accurate and timely.

Establish weekly field calls providing guidance on product deliveries and assessing feedback to be shared at HQ.

Collaborate with marketing on all retail marketing deliverables. Ensure business needs and deadliners are met or exceeded.

Meet monthly with GA wholesale to understand market trend and where there is opportunity for GA Retail

Assist Assistant Merchant with sample responsibilities as needed; Assist Director with all Merch related deliverables as needed

Required Skills:

At least 4 years’ experience in a buying/merchandising/planning position and at least 1 year experience in Retail merchandising; proven ability to buy and manage multiple categories

Experience with store allocation, space, inventory and store planning.

Experience with product development (denim is a plus!) and understands msrp, costing structures, and margin goals and implications

Intermediate to advanced level Excel user: create reports, v lookup, ref formulas

OBSESSED with accuracy and detail when it comes to all things (data and product)

Can create and format aesthetically pleasing visual decks to be used in cross-functional facing milestones and exec presentations

Exceptional presentation skills with the ability to present business-critical information to leadership and exec teams

Is a self-starter who is proactive, resourceful, and is eager to contribute to all aspects of the GA business

LOVES fashion and pop culture and is aware of market and cultural trends

Collaborative team player who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment

Must in office 4 days a week
