Donor & Major Gifts Officer

LHH Recruitment Solutions is working with one of our great Nonprofit clients to hire a Donor & Major Gifts Fundraising Manager for a fully on-site role in Irvine, CA. The ideal candidate will have experience managing their own portfolio of donors and a minimum of 5 years' experience with nonprofit fundraising.

This role is fully onsite in Irvine, CA and can pay between $71,000-$81,000

Responsibilities:

Oversee a portfolio of donors (both existing and new) and engage in portfolio solicitation multiple times a year.

Collaborate with internal stakeholders to explore and identify new donor opportunities, learn about full donor relationship history, and engage in fundraising initiatives and donor visits.

Craft sponsorship materials for any campaigns and events.

Develop knowledge of partners' philanthropic priorities and decision-making process.

Create engagement programs and outreach opportunities to support both new and existing initiatives/causes.

Manage gift processing and engagement opportunities as well as portfolio records to track donor communications and connections.

Support all fundraising events and activities.

Qualifications:

5 years minimum of nonprofit fundraising and strategic fund development

2 years minimum of Donor portfolio management and direct solicitation

Bachelor's degree in Communications, Public Relations or related field preferred

High level of proficiency working in CRM and project management software (Salesforce and Asana preferred)

Proficiency with donation processing platforms

Proficiency within the Microsoft Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
