Due to growth-driven expansion of its Commodities Group, Karbone is currently seeking a Renewable Fuels Sales Trader for our US Renewable Fuels Desk.

Responsibilities:

Sales, trading, business development, and account management among renewable fuel producers, logistics providers, fuel distributors, oil refiners, and voluntary end-users.

Originate, structure and execute bilateral deals for renewable fuels and related environmental credit contracts in North America.

Coverage may include any combination of Renewable Natural Gas (RNG), other Biogas, Renewable Diesel, Biodiesel, Ethanol, and/or related Environmental Attributes such as RINs, LCFS Credits, etc.

Conduct client meetings and roadshows, participate in industry networking events, with the goal of building a book of business and growing company exposure.

Maintain knowledge of market developments, regulation/legislation and industry trends.

Serve as Renewable Fuels subject matter expert for the Commodity Desks, and key touchpoint for global Fuels markets via Karbone UK office.

Qualifications:

2-7+ years’ experience in renewable fuel and related environmental commodity trading, sales-trading, brokerage, or directly related fields

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Economics, Finance, or similar field

Polished sales acumen and demonstrated drive to generate revenue and close deals

Ideal candidates will demonstrate strong results-orientation, teamwork, innovation, entrepreneurialism, and the ability to scale a growing Commodity franchise

Direct experience in renewable fuels and RINs highly preferred

Base salary estimated to be between $70k and $150k+, to commensurate with experience
