Environmental Law Attorney - AM LAW

I am currently working with a leading AM LAW firm, who are actively looking to recruit an attorney to join their highly regarded Environmental Law practice in Chicago.

Job Description:

This firm is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Environmental Law Attorney to join their dynamic team. The successful candidate will demonstrate a strong understanding of environmental law principles, regulations, and policies, and possess the ability to provide strategic legal counsel to our clients. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work on a wide range of environmental matters, including permitting, compliance, litigation, and transactional work.

Responsibilities:

Provide legal advice and guidance to clients on environmental regulations, permitting requirements, and compliance issues.

Conduct legal research and analysis to support clients in resolving environmental disputes and addressing regulatory challenges.

Draft and review legal documents, including contracts, agreements, pleadings, and regulatory submissions.

Represent clients in administrative proceedings, negotiations, and litigation matters related to environmental law.

Requirements:

JD from a leading law school

Licensed to practice law in Illinois.

2+ years of experience in environmental law, ideally gained at a leading law firm.
