Develops sophisticated benefit design and renewal strategies to address complex client issues
Collaborates closely with account management and client service teams on pre-renewal strategy, RFP distribution, and open enrollment strategy
Maintains accountability for revenue and profitability for client accounts and projects, ensuring all involved parties are kept up to date
Cultivates and maintains strong relationships with clients and carriers, while also overseeing effective carrier/vendor relationships for benefits procurement and administration
Stays fully informed about compliance issues impacting employer-sponsored health and welfare plans, ensuring accuracy of client data and adherence to regulations such as HIPAA, ERISA, and PPACA
