A locally owned Chevrolet dealership in the DMV for over 68 years seeks a dedicated Sales Consultant to help grow our dealership and provide exceptional customer experiences. The ideal candidate is self-motivated and passionate about succeeding in a fast-paced and professional workplace.

If you have retail/sales experience assisting customers in selecting and purchasing merchandise, you have already performed the primary function of a Sales Consultant. Your skills are transferable, and you can excel in this role!

Must be 18 years or older and authorized to work in the U.S.
High School Diploma or equivalent
Applicant must pass pre-employment screening
Prior automotive sales experience is a plus but not required
Being bilingual is a plus!
Responsibilities:
Approach, greet, and offer assistance or direction to any customer who enters the dealership showroom or sales lot
Help customers purchase a vehicle
Handle inbound and outbound calls to prospective buyers
Respond promptly to sales leads and inquiries
Engage with prospective buyers to understand their needs and preferences
Follow the sales process and deliver vehicles while ensuring customers understand the vehicle's operating features and warranty
Utilize CRM and other computer tools effectively
Be the vehicle expert
Stay up-to-date on industry standards
Ensure every customer has a premium buying experience
Manage a book of business and drive referral-based business
