Supply Chain Analyst

Job Description

MAIN FUNCTION:

Supply chain analyst monitors and evaluates the performance of a company's supply chain. Supply chain analyst uses data analysis, mathematical modeling, and optimization techniques to identify and solve problems, improve efficiency, and reduce costs.

QUALIFICATIONS:

A bachelor's degree in supply chain management, business, engineering, mathematics, statistics, or a related field.

A minimum of 3 years of experience in supply chain analysis, logistics, operations, or a related field.

Proficiency in data analysis, mathematical modeling, and optimization tools, such as Excel, and Power BI.

Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.

Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.

Attention to detail, accuracy, and quality.

Ability to work independently and in a team.

Flexibility and adaptability to changing priorities and deadlines.

Knowledge of supply chain concepts, principles, and best practices.

Collecting and analyzing data from various sources, such as supply, inventory, forecasts, and market trends.

Inventory optimization

Supplier performance evaluation

Demand forecasting

Cost analysis

Developing and maintaining reports, Power BI Dashboards, and metrics to measure and evaluate the performance within the supply chain.

Identifying and recommending opportunities for improvement.

Collaborating with other departments, such as procurement, logistics, operations, marketing sales and finance, to coordinate and implement supply chain strategies and solutions.

Other duties, as assigned.
