Overview
The Part-time Radiologist MD DNB (Evening Slot) plays a crucial role in providing high-quality diagnostic and interventional radiology services during evening shifts. They are responsible for interpreting medical images, making diagnoses, and providing timely and accurate reports to assist in patient care and treatment planning.
Key Responsibilities
Performing and interpreting diagnostic imaging studies, such as X-rays, CT scans, MRI scans, and ultrasounds
Collaborating with other medical professionals to determine appropriate imaging procedures
Communicating findings to referring physicians and other healthcare providers
Ensuring the safety and comfort of patients during imaging procedures
Participating in quality assurance and improvement activities
Keeping abreast of advancements in radiology technology and practices
Adhering to relevant regulatory and safety standards
Managing and maintaining imaging equipment
Providing occasional on-call coverage as needed
Documenting and maintaining accurate patient records
Required Qualifications
MD or equivalent degree from an accredited medical school
Diplomate of National Board (DNB) certification in Radiology
Active medical license in the state of practice
At least 2 years of experience in diagnostic radiology
Expertise in interpreting a wide range of imaging modalities
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work efficiently and accurately in a fast-paced environment
Excellent time management and organizational abilities
Commitment to patient care and safety
Willingness to work evening shifts as scheduled
