Description:

You will use your expertise in the evaluation and approval of testing campaign for onshore and offshore wind turbines covering safety functional test, mechanical load test, power performance test and more. Additionally, you will be involved in the approval of model validation activities for onshore and offshore wind turbines related to applicability of aero-elastic models.

Key responsibilities:

⢠Technical review of the documentation from clients and from measurements institutes

⢠Optimization of work processes

⢠Evaluation of the model validation according to the international certification schemes requirements (IEC 61400-22, IECREâ ) and international standards like IEC 61400-1, IEC 61400-3 and IEC 61400-13 by means of load calculations

⢠Integration of continuous improvement concepts and techniques into all aspects of the job

⢠project execution and customer communication

⢠close cooperation with the global team

Profile and qualifications:

⢠a degree from a technical university with focus on mechanical or dynamic systems or aerospace technology

⢠at least three years of experience in the wind energy sector with focus either on testing activities or on model validation activities. Experience with the common adopted IEC standards in the wind energy field is a plus

⢠Experience in commercialized numerical simulation tools is a plus (Bladed, Flex5)

⢠Languages: fluency in English, Chinese and/or German knowledge is a plus

⢠Excellent organizational and time management skills

⢠Customer focus, commitment and independent work

⢠Strong technical aptitude and ability to work in a fast paced consultancy environment

⢠Experience in the continuous development of work processes (Lean Six Sigma) is desirable
