You will be working as Associate Project Engineer at global grade 14 / 15 and will be part of Robotics & Discrete Automation business for Robot Automotive division based in Bangalore, India. In this role you will be reporting to Engineering Manager and will be responsible for designing and implementing in design software. Managing projects from scope to roll out and ensure schedule and quality adherence.

Your responsibilities

Managing industrial processes and robotic application automation projects as assigned

Developing 3D concept for a robotic simulation and interacting with customers to get project input details

Preparing detail 2D drawings using SolidWorks / Auto Cad for the robotics applications and preparing 3D models using CAD software

Performing design calculation if required and assigning work and managing performance of team and coach them on regular basis

Communicating periodically with all stakeholders and share details in a candid manner

Supporting to achieve organization and program KPIs. Performing other activities as requested

Your background

Bachelor's degree or Diploma in mechanical or mechatronics / industrial engineering or equivalent

Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in either a consulting engineering firm or in an operating engineering environment and sound knowledge of Factory Automation, SPMs, Robotics Applications

Experience in designing using 3D software like Solid works, Catia V5, NX, Inventor, Creo

Experience in use and implementation of PDM/PLM software such as Windchill, Autodesk Vault and EPDM

Should be capable to Evolve, develop and implement best suitable robotic solution for manufacturing industry

Exposure to Robotics Automation, Automotive industry, General industry, would be an added advantage
