Entry Level Apartment Maintenance Person

The ideal candidate has some basic knowledge and experience in residential property management maintenance & repair.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

· Complete service requests in a timely manner.

· Assist in apartment turnovers.

· Cleaning and light repairs of vacant units.

· Basic experience of general repair, maintenance, drywall, appliance, carpentry, and painting for residential property management.

· Ability to handle physical workload

· Basic Knowledge of maintenance and repair tools

· Reliable Transportation

· Residential Property Maintenance & Repair experience preferred

Education/Experience:

Some experience as a residential property maintenance technician is preferred with some on the job training.

Physical Demands/ Working Conditions/ Hazards

Light/heavy lifting, carrying materials and ability to work in all types of weather.

May be required to work overtime, work outside, or be available for emergency situations including weekends and holidays. Ability to work with others and foster an environment of team work. Manual dexterity and coordination needed to operate hand and power tools and equipment. Must be able to lift 20 pounds without assistance. May be required to have a valid driver's license and a good driving record.
