Chord Specialty Dental Partners is dedicated to expanding access to quality dental care for children and adults for over 60 practices across six states. We’re committed to providing the highest level of business and operational support, allowing our affiliated dental care teams to focus on patient-centered care. We’re growing and have a fantastic opportunity for a Human Resources Manager.

As a Human Resources Manager, you will focus on general HR-related tasks, employee relations, and administration of our benefits program. The ideal candidate for this role will be passionate about HR, self-motivated, and enjoy working in a busy, team-oriented environment.

Compensation: $80-90k/yr

Location: While this is a remote position, candidate must reside within the PA, NJ, DE tri-state area. This position will require approximately10%-20% travel to our dental offices in the region.

Responsibilities:

Manage all aspects of employee relations including conflict resolution, performance management, and fostering a positive work environment.

Handle terminations with professionalism, ensuring compliance with company policies and legal regulations while prioritizing fairness and respect.

Facilitate feedback mechanisms to promote continuous improvement and employee engagement, fostering a culture of open communication and development.

Ensure compliance with state and federal regulations related to employment, including but not limited to, EEOC (Equal Employment Opportunity Commission) guidelines, ADA (Americans with Disabilities Act), FMLA (Family and Medical Leave Act), and FLSA (Fair Labor Standards Act).

Develop and implement initiatives to promote diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) within the organization, fostering a culture of respect, belonging, and equal opportunity for all employees.

Stay abreast of changes in labor laws and regulations, proactively updating policies and procedures to maintain compliance and mitigate risks.

Serve as a point of contact for employee inquiries regarding HR policies, procedures, and legal requirements, providing guidance and support as needed.

Facilitate new employee onboarding following standard procedures.

Establish and uphold record-keeping practices to create and maintain comprehensive employee files, ensuring accuracy, confidentiality, and compliance with legal requirements.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in human resource management or related field.

Knowledge of employment laws and practices.

Experience in benefits administration and other HR programs.

Strong organizational skills.

Ability to organize, coordinate, and manage projects in an effective manner.

Proficiency in MS Office suite required.

Paychex experience preferred.
