Job Summary:

Berglund Ford Mazda is seeking a part-time Quick Lube Technician to join our service team in Salem, Virginia. This position is ideal for individuals looking for a career in the automotive industry and have a passion for cars. As a Quick Lube Technician, you will be responsible for performing routine maintenance and basic repairs on vehicles, ensuring customer satisfaction and maintaining the highest level of quality and efficiency.

Compensation & Benefits:

This is a part-time position with a salary of $15 per hour, paid biweekly. In addition to competitive pay, Berglund Ford Mazda offers employee discounts on vehicles and service. There is opportunity to grow into full-time technician trainee position.

Responsibilities:

-Perform routine maintenance such as oil changes, tire rotations, and filter replacements on vehicles

-Inspect vehicles for any potential issues and report to the Service Manager

-Complete basic repairs such as replacing bulbs, wipers, and batteries

-Keep a clean and organized work area

-Interact with customers in a friendly and professional manner

-Keep up-to-date on the latest automotive technology and procedures

-Maintain high levels of efficiency to meet company standards

Requirements:

-High school diploma or equivalent

-Previous experience as a Quick Lube Technician is preferred

-Knowledge of automotive maintenance and repair procedures

-Ability to lift up to 50 pounds

-Strong attention to detail

-Excellent time management skills

-Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment

-Must have a valid driver's license and clean driving record.

This is a part time position, must be available to work early evenings and Saturdays
