Position Overview: As a PMHNP-BC, you'll not only manage your client caseload but also provide consultation, training, and assistance to fellow Nurse Practitioners, ensuring the highest quality of care. What Sets You Apart:

Master's or Doctoral degree in Psychiatric-Mental Health Nursing.

Current state licensure as a Nurse Practitioner.

Willingness to be licensed in multiple states where CFS has or will have an office.

Certification as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC) through the ANCC. Experience that Matters:

Minimum of five years of experience as a PMHNP-BC in psychiatric settings.

Minimum of two years of management experience.

Minimum of two years of training facilitation and development experience preferred.

Experience working with diverse patient populations and a range of psychiatric disorders.

Strong understanding of medication management and prescribing psychotropic medications.

Working experience in evidence-based psychotherapeutic modalities (CBT, DBT, motivational interviewing).

Familiarity with Electronic Health Record systems for accurate patient records and compliance. Key Responsibilities:

Ensure clinical practices meet ethical standards and federal/state regulations.

Serve as an educational resource to the team and clients.

Act as a mentor to foster NP development.

Involved in NP hiring and training processes.

Develop and implement Medication Management policies.

Audit records for quality of care.

Conduct psychiatric evaluations and formulate accurate diagnoses.

Collaborate with a multi-disciplinary team for comprehensive client care.

Utilize CFS's Electronic Health Record for documentation and prescribing.

Stay current with the latest developments in psychiatric care. Requirements to Thrive:

Proficiency in psychiatric assessment, diagnosis, and treatment.

Ability to work independently with attention to detail.

Commitment to maintaining client confidentiality and privacy.

Proficient in the use of computers and word processing software. Other Conditions:

Must be willing to travel as often as needed.
