Mechanical Design Engineer

The ideal candidate will create, draft, and design product layouts and schemes using customer specification and recommendations. This individual will test products and make adjustments where necessary. Additionally, they will examine broken products and resolve issues for future designs.

Responsibilities

Conduct product testing

Assess the feasibility of product design

Review defunct products

Demonstrated ability in preparing technical reports and deliverables to successful conclusion.

Experience in finite element analysis codes such as ANSYS, ABAQUS, LSDYNA, FEMAP and NASTRAN.

Experience in piping analysis codes such as CAESAR II, AutoPIPE, PIPESTRESS and STANPIPE

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field

3+ years' of industry experience

Strong knowledge of mechanical parts and computer-aided design and softwares like ANSYS, SolidWorks etc.

Having PhD and/or valid P. Eng license is an added advantage.
