JOB OVERVIEW:
Develop, Analyze and Maintain Cost Findings, reporting and internal control procedures
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Identify financial goals and objectives
Plan, set up and administer auditing systems to ensure protocols and efficiencies are followed.
Analyze hotels' purchasing and financial records
Ensure accuracy and compliance to accounting standards, procedures, and internal control
Meet with key department managers to understand processes
Prepare financial information for individuals or departments
Prepare reports and audit findings
Prepare financial statements and reports
Recommend and present improvements to accounting and purchasing systems, along with management practices
Develop and maintain cost findings, reporting and internal control procedure
Review vendor partners to determine best purchasing practices are utilized
Analyze financial documents and reports
Examine accounting records
Responsible for maintenance of normal and routine controls to ensure reasonable protection of company assets.
Promote teamwork and quality service through daily communication and coordination with other departments. Key departmental contacts include department heads throughout the hotel for the purpose of providing

Qualifications and Requirements:
EDUCATION:
Bachelor’s Degree in economics, Financial Accounting preferred
EXPERIENCE:
Two (2) years experience in a finance function with a preference for prior audit or accounting role or an equivalent combination of education and work experience. Ability to speak fluent English required.
Other:
· Reading abilities are utilized often when reading invoices and work materials.
· Mathematical skills are used frequently to perform calculations, reconcile balances, etc.
May be required to work nights, weekends, and/or holidays.
