Lead AWS DevOps Engineer (Amazon Connect)

Our client is currently seeking a seasoned Lead AWS DevOps Engineer with over 5 years of hands-on experience in infrastructure development and automation with a focus on Amazon Connect. In this role, you will oversee the entire DevOps lifecycle, ensuring the resilience, scalability, and security of cloud infrastructure. We are seeking a candidate with deep AWS knowledge (Amazon Connect essential), extensive DevOps experience, and the ability to lead and nurture a team.

Key Attributes:

deploying, and managing scalable and secure AWS infrastructure.

Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform and CloudFormation for automated resource provisioning.

and maintaining CI/CD pipelines to facilitate efficient and reliable application delivery.

optimized deployment strategies for seamless releases.

containerized applications using Docker and container orchestration tools like Kubernetes or AWS EKS.

code in Java, JavaScript (Node), and Python.

up and maintaining monitoring solutions such as CloudWatch and Prometheus.

logging and tracing mechanisms for comprehensive system visibility.

robust security measures and conducting regular audits to address vulnerabilities.

compliance with industry standards and regulations.

with cross-functional teams to integrate DevOps processes seamlessly.

and maintaining automation scripts using Python, Bash, or PowerShell.

manual processes to enhance efficiency and minimize errors.

and managing backup and disaster recovery strategies.

capacity planning and optimizing AWS infrastructure for cost-effective solutions.

system architecture and processes for knowledge sharing.

technical support for infrastructure-related issues.

junior team members and staying updated on emerging technologies.

Desirable Skills:

degree in Computer Science or related field.

to 7+ years of relevant experience in AWS DevOps and Amazon Connect

expertise in AWS, Docker, Kubernetes, and related tools.

in Java, PHP, JavaScript, and Bash.

with RDBMS/DB systems like MySQL and PostgreSQL.

Linux operating system knowledge.

with CI/CD processes and tools like GitLab CI/CD, Jenkins.

experience with Terraform, Ansible, Docker, Prometheus, ELK.

communication and teamwork skills.

qualifications: French language proficiency, AWS Certified DevOps Engineer certification, and knowledge of architectural patterns.
