Key Responsibilities
Project Leadership: Lead and oversee the entire life cycle of wood frame and future concrete construction projects, from initiation to completion, ensuring adherence to timelines, budgets, and quality standard
Team Management: As a Project Manager, you will be responsible for assembling and leading a high-performing project team. Foster collaboration, provide guidance, and motivate team members to achieve project goal
Strategic Planning: Develop and implement strategic project plans, considering all aspects of construction, including design, engineering, procurement, and construction phase
Stakeholder Engagement: Effectively communicate with internal and external stakeholders, ensuring clear and transparent communication throughout the project duration
Risk Management: Identify potential risks and challenges associated with construction projects, and implement effective risk mitigation strategies to ensure successful project deliver
Quality Assurance: Uphold and enforce high-quality standards in all project deliverables. Implement and monitor quality control processes to guarantee the excellence of the final product.
Qualifications
Proven experience as a Project Manager with a minimum of one successfully completed construction projects in Canada
Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and guide a multidisciplinary project te
am.In-depth knowledge of the construction industry, including regulations, codes, and best practices related to wood frame residential projects
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to engage with stakeholders at all levels
Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field. BCIT background an as set
