The Pivotal Payroll Administrator manages a portfolio of clients across Canada, processing timely, accurate payroll while maintaining premium customer service.

Have a proven track record with attention to detail, accurate data entry, and multi-tasking;

Enjoy, and are skilled at, working in Excel (experience with vlookup and pivot tables is a plus!);

Have an everything is “figureoutable” attitude and are resourceful in finding information and solutions;

What you will do:

Gather and enter clients’ payroll data on a daily basis;

Email clients as required to obtain payroll data and approvals;

Return phone calls and emails from clients promptly;

Input new hires, terminations, time sheets, and all adjustments to employee/payroll data ;

Audit and advise clients to ensure legislative compliance;

Understand your clients’ reporting requirements and looking for ways to add value;

Handle third-party inquiries (i.e. Service Canada, CRA, Employment Verifications);

Complete ROEs and T4s;

Respond to employee payroll-related questions;

Process all year-end tax forms and reconciliations;

Assist in the continuous improvement of the service we provide;

Attend regular internal training and workshops to maintain and improve your payroll knowledge.

Required Qualifications:

PCP designation or are a PCP Candidate;

Previous payroll and/or accounting experience;

Multi-provincial and/or managed payroll experience considered an asset

Compensation & Additional Benefits:

$45 000 to $55 000 CAD/year, depending on experience

Annual performance based bonus plan

15 Paid Vacation Days + half-day summer Fridays
