Location: Brampton (Onsite)
The Manufacturing Engineering Body-in-White (BIW) Process Supervisor will lead the development and implementation of BIW Automatic process equipment, tools and related facilities for new model assembly production.
Job Description:
Drives continuous improvement into the processes and equipment while meeting the cost and timing requirements of the program
Interface with multiple organizations (Product Engineering, Vehicle Assembly, Quality, etc.) to understand components/subsystems for vehicles
Generate process sheets, assembly layouts, installation tooling as well as special manufacturing requirements
Lead Process Failure Modes & Effects Analysis (PFMEA) activities with the platform team for new/critical processes
Manage a team of 2-3 people and supervise the plant team activity
Handle vendor management
Perform root cause analysis, time tracking, efficiency, machine capability
Requirement:
10+ years of engineering experience in automotive manufacturing (body and white, factory)
Project management experience
Supplier/ vendor management experience
Proficient in CATIA
Knowledge of Teamcenter Manufacturing and VIS Mock-up
Proficiency in French/ Chinese would be an asset
Willing to work overtime when required
