We are seeking a motivated and dynamic individual to join our marketing team as a Relationship Manager. The ideal candidate will have a strong passion for building relationships, generating referrals, and driving the growth of our practice through strategic outreach efforts. As a Relationship Manager, you will play a pivotal role in expanding our patient base, enhancing the reputation of our practices and nurturing existing referral relationships within the community.

Key Responsibilities:

Referral Relationship Generation:

Develop and execute a comprehensive strategy to establish and nurture referral relationships with dentists, physicians, medical professionals, and other relevant targets.

Regularly communicate with potential referring partners to foster strong connections and ensure a consistent flow of patient referrals.

Identify opportunities to collaborate on seminars, workshops, and events that educate referring partners about our oral surgery services.

Community Engagement:

Represent the practices at local community events, health fairs, and professional networking gatherings to increase visibility and create awareness about our services.

Establish partnerships with local organizations, schools, and businesses to promote our practices and create a positive impact on the community.

Marketing and Outreach Strategies:

Collaborate with the marketing team to create and implement targeted marketing campaigns that highlight our practices’ expertise and value proposition.

Utilize social media, email marketing, and other digital platforms to engage with potential patients and referring partners.

Tracking and Analysis:

Monitor and analyze the effectiveness of outreach initiatives, referral sources, and marketing campaigns, adjusting strategies as needed to optimize results.

Provide regular reports and follow-ups to the surgeons and practice management team, outlining key performance metrics, growth trends, and out-of-office marketing opportunities.

Relationship Management:

Foster and maintain strong relationships with referring partners, addressing their needs, concerns, and feedback to ensure a positive and productive collaboration.

Act as a liaison between our oral surgery practices and referring partners, facilitating open communication and consistent patient referrals.

Qualifications and Skills:

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field

Proven track record in developing and managing successful sales, business development, or referral relationships within the healthcare or medical industry.

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.

Strong networking abilities and a natural aptitude for building and maintaining professional relationships.

Self-motivated and results-oriented with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Proficiency in utilizing digital marketing tools and platforms.

Previous experience in the healthcare field, particularly oral surgery, is a plus.

Weekly Requirements:

· Plan

10% = 4 hours per week spent on independent work in planning, analyzing available trends, developing surgeon meeting agendas, and completing role-specific administrative work.

· Communicate

10% = 4 hours per week spent collaborating with surgeon stakeholders and management support. Review practice performance, confirm and schedule surgeon/practice marketing visits, events, and plans.

Execute – In-Field Engagement

= 32 hours per week spent in direct external outreach to potential or existing referral partners engaging in a range of activities: office drop-ins, cold calls, scheduled meetings, lunch & learns, social events, continued education dental events, digital comms, collateral delivery, office tours, meet & greets, etc.

Must have access to a vehicle to perform the duties of the job – Mileage reimbursement provided**

Monthly Requirements:

Surgeon 1:1

min, routine monthly agenda-driven 1:1 interaction with surgeon partners. Agenda items include a review of prior month performance, a plan for the next 30 days, define tactics and tactic ownership, documentation, and follow-up. Provide proof of referral relationship nurturing, build trust among surgeon and practice staff, and galvanize the partnership objectives.

Director 1:1

min, routine monthly agenda-driven 1:1 with both parties acting as equal contributors to the agenda. Agenda items and outcomes will include monthly wins and opportunities, resource needs, roadblocks and strategy development.

Operations Team – “ALL HANDS”

min, routine monthly agenda-driven Operations team meeting. Agenda items and outcomes will include team building and skill development, departmental performance review, strategy and business updates, market opportunities, challenges, and possible solutions.
