Americaneagle.com is looking for a self-driven Marketing Content Writer with a pulse on technology and B2B trends to help our clients and prospects make informed decisions about the digital solutions Americaneagle.com offers, with a focus on sales-based collateral, thought leadership materials, and the overall company content strategy. The Marketing Content Writer will serve as the lead writer for the marketing team overseeing the strategy. This highly creative and driven individual must be extremely collaborative and flexible to meet the demands of an ever-changing environment. This position will work with all members of the Marketing team to produce original, effective content across multiple channels.

Responsibilities:

Work with internal platform teams to develop creative and compelling messaging for use by the sales and marketing teams both internally and externally.

Focus on how Americaneagle.com can use content to meet our business objectives, auditing existing content and using data to measure its performance

Clear understanding and ability to write for various channels throughout the entire buyers journey (i.e. email, social, blog, direct mail, web pages, advertisements, white papers, case studies, info sheets, etc.).

Plan new and engaging pieces of content by analyzing needs and keeping abreast of industry news.

Interview internal team members and clients to create case study opportunities, testimonials, informational sheets, whitepapers, blogs, and more.

Identify successful content and map out new ways to repurpose to amplify the message, increase visibility, and accelerate lead generation.

Proof content and collateral for accuracy, including spelling, grammar, and product/service information.

Participate in creative discussions with the marketing and sales team to determine necessary content for collateral and fulfillment of marketing requests from other departments.

Collaborate with the marketing team to provide feedback on existing content, contribute ideas in brainstorming sessions and offer suggestions for improving campaigns, procedures, and other business-related activity.

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in marketing, journalism, communications, English or related field

3+ years of professional writing experience, preferably in an agency or technology environment

Experience writing copy for a B2B mid-market to enterprise audience a strong plus

Ability to make decisions comfortably and come up with new, unique messaging required

Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel) required. Photoshop and Illustrator skills are a plus.

Proven experience of writing for a variety of communication channels and audiences, including for web using SEO best practices required

Strong problem solving and creative concept skills with the ability to work independently and as well as within a team environment

Driven individual who is able to work in a fast-paced, high pressure, dynamic environment and carry out responsibilities with minimal direction

Good eye for layout and design of content pieces a plus

Strong organizational and follow-up skills required

Ability to convey tips, best practices, and concepts both in writing and verbally

Ability to pick up on technical topics quickly, enjoy learning new skills and knowledge, and are adept at staying ahead of the curve on relevant industry, company, product, or technical knowledge
