The Superintendent manages and controls assigned projects, including overseeing site safety, field operations, productivity, schedule, quality work, subcontractor and supplier coordination. Work in conjunction with the Project Manager leading the project team. The Superintendent reports directly to the Project Manager.

Minimum Requirements:

- At least four (4) years commercial construction lead superintendent experience

- Safety standards knowledge and enforcement with understanding of OSHA rules and laws

- Driver's license to drive company vehicles

Preferred (Not Required):

- High School Diploma/GED and completion of Vocational School

- Construction management software experience such as Microsoft Project, Procore, Foundation

- Ground up construction experience

Employer Notes:

- Typical Schedule is Monday through Friday 7:00 am - 3:30 pm

- Employer conducts a drug test, background check and DMV Records check

- Travel as needed within Oregon and Washington (Vancouver area). Travel up to 50% of the year and will not be home every night. Can vary based on commute to project

- Ideal candidate is able to remain calm, focused, and effective under time pressure situations and is a self-starter with strong leadership skills who sets goals and tasks

Job Duties:

- Build strong and lasting relationships with clients and subcontractors

- Participate and continually engage in Lean 3.0 training

- Plan out project flow and schedule

- Leverage strong communication skills in order to exchange information, not simply command

- Execute project vision

- Coordinate and lead subcontractor weekly meetings

- Manage labor/carpentry staff

Wage and Benefits:

- $80,000 - $110,000 per year, depending on experience
