Plant Manager

Novaris Search is currently partnered with an expanding and innovative packaging company who are actively seeking a Plant Manager for their facility in El Paso, Texas.

Position Overview: As the Plant Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of plant operations, ensuring efficiency, quality, and safety standards are met. You will lead a team of dedicated professionals to drive continuous improvement initiatives and achieve operational excellence. Key Responsibilities:

Provide leadership and direction to the plant team, fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, and innovation.

Manage day-to-day operations, including production scheduling, inventory management, and quality control, to meet customer requirements and production targets.

Implement and maintain best practices in manufacturing processes, equipment maintenance, and safety procedures to ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory standards.

Drive continuous improvement initiatives to optimize plant performance, reduce costs, and enhance operational efficiency.

Develop and execute strategic plans to support business objectives, identify opportunities for growth, and drive operational excellence.

Establish and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders, including cross-functional teams and senior management, to achieve organizational goals.

Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to track progress, analyze data, and implement corrective actions as needed.

Promote a culture of safety, quality, and continuous learning, providing training and development opportunities for plant employees.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or related field; advanced degree preferred.

Minimum of 5 years of experience in plant management or operations leadership roles within the packaging industry, preferably in flexible packaging.

Proven track record of success in driving operational excellence, implementing process improvements, and achieving results in a manufacturing environment.

Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate teams, build effective relationships, and drive organizational change.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with diverse stakeholders at all levels.

Demonstrated knowledge of Lean Six Sigma principles, continuous improvement methodologies, and manufacturing best practices.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and ERP systems; experience with production planning software is a plus.

Knowledge of safety regulations, quality standards, and environmental compliance requirements.

Located or open to relocate to El Paso.
