Job Description:

Looking for a mid to senior level operations analyst with significant experience performing mission level modeling in support of government customers. This candidate would be responsible for designing, building and conducting analysis trades and studies, working with program management and existing operations analysis personnel to determine the right approach and metrics and verifying the intent and outcomes match with customer needs. Candidate will also be expected to provide guidance to more junior analysts with less or limited experience performing OA studies. Work will be performed almost entirely within a classified environment, so onsite support will be required. Candidate will also be responsible for creating briefing material in the form of slides and possibly reports for internal and external customers. May be called upon to present and brief results and conclusions.

Required Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in an engineering or other STEM related field (Math, physics, etc.)

Operations Analysis background, experience performing mission level modeling in a government standard model

Ability to create Matlab scripts for data reduction and visualization, automating various analysis tasks

Microsoft Office applications

Minimum of 5 years experience supporting operations analysis activities at a contractor, government agency or FFRDC. Current active secret clearance. Experience developing analysis scenarios and threat models and instantiations within mission level tools such as AFSIM, DIADS or NGTS.

Preferred Qualifications:

AFSIM - both running the tool and developing plugins and scripts

ESAMS

Python

C++

Experience briefing program management and customers

Minimum of 6 years experience performing operations analysis at a prime contractor, both mission and engagement level scope.

Understanding of how engagement level results are translated to mission level to provide context for metrics calculations.

Experience briefing results to high level customers and management, comfortable with preparing presenting charts and conclusions.

Experience personally running large scope missions within AFSIM.

Additional experience with DIADS or NGTS.
