Position: Systems Administrator / Computer Electrical Engineering Apprentice
Location: Tucson AZ - onsite 2X per week
Must-haves
A bachelor's degree in Computer Electrical Engineering is preferred OR relevant experience
Any professional or academic experience performing hardware, software, and system installation, integration, and testing for power systems applications and projects.
Plusses:
Experience planning, integrating, testing, and commissioning schematics, databases, UI's, and displays to support grid operations processes.
Experience developing and maintaining power system application models, interfaces, processes, reports, and documentation.
Deep understanding of computer architecture, networking, databases, and operating systems.
Experience configuring Supervisory Control & Data Acquisition (SCADA) control and monitoring connections to the electric grid.

Our client in the Electric Utility Industry is looking to bring on an Systems Administrator/Computer Electrical Engineering Apprentice onto their Energy Systems team. In this role, you will have the opportunity to gain experience in modeling computer and electrical systems. Some of the responsibilities will include:
Perform hardware, software, and system installation, integration, and testing for power systems applications and projects.
Making models for engineers
Configure Supervisory Control & Data Acquisition (SCADA) control and monitoring connections to the electric grid.
Manage stringent uptime requirements by coordinating between users, redundant systems, sites, and processes.
Providing client support and assistance as needed.
Responsible for planning, integrating, testing, and commissioning schematics, databases, UI's and displays to support grid operations processes.
Develop and maintain power system application models, interfaces, processes, reports, and documentation.
Create training materials and project documentation as needed.
