Job Summary: Reporting to the Vice President of Marketing and working in collaboration of the Director of Strategic Marketing, the Director of Casino Marketing is responsible for planning, developing and implementing all casino marketing initiatives ensuring compliance with all state and local gaming control and internal audit regulations. This position will monitor revenue growth and recommend, design and execute VIP, VVIP and rated player strategies and tactics to ensure continually growth and development of all segments and tiers within or potentially within our database. The Promotions, Special Events, Casino Hosts, Casino Ambassadors, Junket Operations, Bus Operations and all of Player Development will report to the Director of Casino Marketing.

Supervisory Responsibilities:

Yes, will supervise a team of senior managers, managers, specialists and other marketing team members. Departments include but are not limited to: Player Development and Player Services.

Duties/Responsibilities:

Work directly with the Director of Strategic Marketing to ensure that all departments within marketing work in a cohesive, productive and proactive manner.

Ensure effective recruitment, hiring, training, recognition, coaching, progressive discipline for all casino marketing departments

Creates and/or maintains departmental policies and SOPs

Creates experiential events for VIP & VVIP guests

Coordinates and maintains all disciplinary actions, training development and performance management.

Establish, monitor and continually approve Key Performance Indicators (KPI’s) for casino hosts and sales team

Maintains all technical support systems including player kiosks and player tracking

Develops, executes and maintains casino acquisition programs

Develops and implements departmental policies and standard operating procedures

Ensures that all of casino marketing plans, investments, special events, promotions, gift giveaways, policies, gift inventories, tournaments and sweepstakes are in compliance with all governing bodies.

Oversees Marketing projects and reinvestment to ensure accuracy and integrity of all offers including discretionary comps, Free Play™ issuance and other types of comps.

Works closely with the Casino Operations team to develop and execute targeted marketing strategies, including loyalty programs

Works directly with the Director of Strategic Marketing and the manager of Database/Direct Mail to develop criteria for campaigns & programs.

Develops, executes and monitors casino comp policies, limits and access

In coordination and collaboration with the VP of Marketing, develops and monitors casino comp matrix.

Assists the Director of Strategic Marketing with the Special Events and Promotions calendar

Drive revenue growth on all tiers via relationship marketing, promotions and other marketing tactics

Designs and maintains “Premium Player” card status, benefits and eligibility

Manages relationships with vendors,

Evaluates effectiveness of database marketing, special events, promotions and other Casino Host KPI’s

Manages marketing guest services initiatives of all Marketing areas

Analyze financial results of Marketing programs and effectively manage marketing expenses to budget. Examine expense and revenue reports for area of responsibility and recommend actions to be taken.

Complimentary privileges within prescribed limits in accordance with the approved Comp Matrix

Assists the Vice President in the creation, implementation and management of an effective marketing plan for the property, working with the Executive Team to determine current and future objectives

Participates in budget development, monitors marketing and event costs, and ensures budgetary compliance

Oversees the player’s club (Rush Rewards). Develops and implements benefits and contests designed to increase player’s club membership and revenue.

Takes all steps necessary to ensure the financial and reputational success of promotions and special events

Guides and ensures proper implementation of all new marketing strategies to ensure that they are successful while providing a high level of return on investment

Knowing all current marketing initiatives by the property

Greeting all team members in the BOH halls as well as Guests we encounter on the floor.

Perform other job-related duties as requested.

Required Skills/Abilities:

Ability to work with minimal supervision, be detail and result-oriented, maintain a high level of accuracy and integrity, and have excellent time management skills.

Maintains confidentiality of customer information.

Ability to read, analyze and interpret financial reports and marketing analysis reports.

Work closely with related departments to manage and utilize the customer databases to consistently yield the most profitable mix of business.

Serve as a leader for Team Members while fostering teamwork, positive morale, motivation and open communications.

Contributes to the department's effectiveness by identifying short-term and long-range issues and goals that must be addressed; providing information and recommending options and courses of actions; implementing directives, ability to create and make presentations both written and oral.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Education and Experience:

4-year degree

3-5+ years casino experience with at least 3 years at a managerial level

3-5+ years casino marketing experience

Ability to plan, develop and implement comprehensive multi-channel revenue driving marketing programs including data driven testing strategies

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to develop and nurture relationships, influence key stakeholders, and resolve conflicts independently to mutually agreeable solutions

High level analytical skills required to identify and validate opportunities

Excellent communication skills; both written and verbal and experience presenting to a high-level audience

Highly self-motivated with the ability to work effectively through others and interface persuasively with people throughout the organization including other departments and internal stakeholders

Physical Requirements:

Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.

Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.

Ability to work flexible shifts and days of the week, including weekends and holidays.
