Job Summary

As part of small, focused team, use existing and new technology to solve challenges for both the front-end and back-end architecture to develop solutions in support of the Army Enterprise Assessment System (AEAS). Engage with functional groups to comprehend client challenges and prototype new ideas and new technologies and help create solutions to drive the next wave of innovation. Design, implement, schedule, test, and deploy full features and components of solutions. Ensure quality software delivery through thorough testing and reviews.

Essential Functions/ PWS Requirement

Collaborate with scientists and other developers to improve, update, and maintain applications.

Develop front end website architecture.

Develop back-end website applications.

Implement design to broaden access and incorporate diverse data streams.

Develop Application Programming Interfaces (API)s.

Troubleshoot and test for usability.

Write technical documentation.

Stay abreast of developments in web applications and programming languages.

Attend work-related conferences, meetings, or training when required.

Required Skills, Qualifications & Certifications

3+ years of relevant experience

Experience in full stack application development

Proficiency with fundamental front-end languages such as HTML, CSS, or JavaScript.

Proficiency with server-side languages such as Python, Ruby, Java, PHP, or .Net.

Familiarity with database technology such as MySQL, Oracle, or MongoDB.

US Citizen and ability to achieve favorable background check.

Security+ CE, CCNA-Security, CySA+, GICSP, GSEC, or SSCP Certification (MUST HAVE)

Desired Skills, Qualifications & Certifications

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related field
