Job Title: Facilities Manager

Company: to be released via phone call

Location: Rockville, MD

Duration: 6 month contract to HIRE

Conversion Salary: $90,000-100,000

Key Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Facilities Management, Business Administration, or a related field.

A minimum of 7 years in facilities management, preferably in a commercial setting.

Previous experience in a managerial or supervisory role, demonstrating effective leadership and team management skills.

A proactive and self-driven approach to problem-solving and decision-making.

Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring timely completion and adherence to budget.

Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office products, including Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.

Responsibilities:

Develop and implement strategic plans for facility maintenance, repair, and upgrades.

Oversee a team of 3 individuals.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance with safety regulations and environmental standards.

Manage facility budgets, track expenses, and optimize resource allocation.

Lead facility improvement projects, coordinating with contractors, vendors, and internal stakeholders.

Foster a positive work environment by addressing employee needs and resolving facility-related issues promptly.
