Title: DevOps Engineer

Duration: 6+ months

Location: Raleigh, NC preferred - Primarily remote, some on site visits as needed, must be within 2 hrs' of Raleigh

Position Description:

We are searching for a talented and motivated DevOps Engineer to join our team. You will play a key role in automating and streamlining our software development lifecycle. You will work with CI/CD pipelines, deployment environments and production application delivery.

Responsibilities:

Design, develop, and implement CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps Server on-premise.

Automate provisioning and configuration management

Maintain and troubleshoot existing automation scripts.

Collaborate with development and operations teams to ensure efficient workflows.

Monitor and optimize the performance of the CI/CD pipelines.

Maintain environments for Development, QA, Training and Production.

Stay up-to-date on DevOps trends and technologies.

Document processes and procedures to ensure knowledge transfer.

Communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Qualifications:

3+ years of experience as a DevOps Engineer or similar role.

Strong scripting skills in PowerShell. IIS experience preferred.

Experience with on-premise Azure DevOps Server or VSTS – if you’re a seasoned PowerShell & IIS pro we can train you on Azure

Experience with infrastructure as code (IaC) concepts & being open to working with PowerShell+ DSC as your main IaC tool

Experience in Desired State Configuration (DSC) for Windows a plus
