Senior Quality Assurance Automation Engineer

Position: Automation Engineer / SDET (Software Development Engineer in Test)

Location: Midtown (2 days onsite)/moving to Dunwoody by EOY- LOCAL ATLANTA CANDIDATES ONLY

Job Type: 6 months Contract to Hire OR Direct hire

This role seeks an Automation Engineer/SDET to pioneer automation efforts within a Supply Chain/Logistics team.

Responsibilities:

Establish and implement a Test Automation Framework from scratch.

Develop and execute automated tests, maximizing coverage for critical features.

Prioritize test scenarios and create execution plans.

Build and document test automation frameworks.

Set up Continuous Integration.

Skills:

Technical: Proficient in Java and JavaScript.

Framework Design: Experienced in Data-Driven, Keyword-Driven, and Hybrid Frameworks.

Analytical: Prioritize tests and streamline functions.

Experience setting up Automation frameworks from scratch.

Tools: Selenium WebDriver, Node.js, Eclipse/IntelliJ, Maven, TestNG, mobile automation tools, API testing tools (REST Assured, RestSharp, jMeter, Postman/Swagger), CI tools (Jenkins, Bitbucket, GitHub), Atlassian JIRA/Confluence.

Experience:

7 years of automation experience, including Selenium.

B2B web application experience, understanding of SDLC and Testing Life Cycle.

Experience with Agile SCRUM Teams and offshore/nearshore/onshore models.

Supply Chain Logistics experience is a plus.
