JOB SUMMARY: Responsible for supporting fleet medical teams and NCLH shoreside clinics on all issues related to medical equipment and oxygen. Serve as the first line point of contact for the fleet for medical equipment and oxygen, including tracking of all assets, medical equipment auditing, inventory maintenance, and liaising with vendors for repairs. Assist vessels and NCLH shoreside clinics with troubleshooting of equipment, offloads, logistics, and other tasks as needed to support all 3 brands.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

Support the Medical Operations Manager in all aspects related to maintenance, auditing and upkeep of medical equipment, X-Ray, and medical oxygen, including all accompanying documentation.

Maintain and review standardized inventory of onboard medical equipment and ensure compliance with equipment upkeep.

Track, review, and maintain inventory of all medical equipment offloaded from vessels and NCLH shoreside clinics, including corporate storage, vendor warehouses, and equipment sent to manufacturers for service.

Maintain and review mandatory compliance preventive maintenance, supervise service schedules for medical equipment and oxygen for all 3 brands, and NCLH shoreside clinics, including cataloguing and upkeep of service reports and records.

Support Medical Operations Manager with maintenance and updates of protocol manuals and reference documents to ensure compliance with standard medical equipment maintenance programs.

Organize and decide on technician travel, joining arrangements, and day of visit support. This includes ordering of repairs of any medical equipment offloaded and to be serviced at the Corporate medical equipment repair site / workshop.

Support onboard teams in completion of preventive maintenance findings and action items to ensure compliance with manufacturer standards.

Maintain corporate office equipment storerooms and medical workshop in an orderly fashion, including auditing and ordering of necessary consumables, tools, and cleaning services.

Support vessels and NCLH shoreside clinics with ordering of medical oxygen and relevant procedures to ensure adequate stocks and processing of offload manifests ensuring compliance with FDA/Customs regulations.

Liaise with Logistics on all shipments to/from the fleet to ensure proper tracking and timely delivery of equipment.

Maintain library of all equipment manuals, accessory guides, and other reference documentation. Maintain records of medications and supplies incinerated due to expiration for analysis. Receive and catalogue physical medical records to be processed for long term storage.

Provide support to Medical Operations team as needed with data capture and reporting. Deploy to incident site/port as needed to support medical teams.

Perform other job-related functions as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS

DEGREE TYPE: Bachelor's Degree

FIELD(S) OF STUDY: EMS,RN,LPN, Bio-medical technician or similar preferred.

EXPERIENCE:

Minimum 2 years experience with medical equipment/facilities in a hospital setting or similar required.

Experience with cruise line operations and/or Logistics strongly preferred.

COMPETENCIES/SKILLS:

Thorough knowledge of shipboard medical equipment and operations, including medical devices, oxygen, and related procedures.

Must possess excellent communication, teaching, and problem-solving skills.

Creative problem-solving skills and attention to detail are desired.

Ability to occasionally lift boxes up to 50 lbs.

Availability to travel to Vessels and remote NCLH Clinics when required.

CERTIFICATIONS/LICENSES: EMS, RN, LPN, Bio-medical technician or similar preferred
