Job Description:

Our client, a non-profit organization, is seeking a passionate and experienced Clinical Director to lead their healing centers. This role presents a unique opportunity to drive forward our vital mission. As the Clinical Director, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of trauma-focused care.

Job Duties:

-Clinical Leadership:

Provide clinical leadership and guidance to TRC clinicians and support staff as they provide victims of crimes with trauma therapy and assistance with any other immediate needs such as shelter and victim-related support.

Develop and implement evidence-based trauma treatment programs and protocols.

Stay up-to-date with the latest research and best practices in trauma recovery and mobile crisis response.

-Program Development and Evaluation:

Manage clinical project and site activities, including timelines, budgets, resources, and program coordination.

Develop strategic initiatives and oversee process improvements to ensure comprehensive wraparound services across HJC programs.

Establish key performance indicators aligned with program objectives.

Develop and update clinical policies, procedures, and treatment protocols.

Implement program enhancements and improvements as needed. Troubleshoot clinical, administrative, and personnel issues.

-Staff Management:

Recruit, train, and evaluate clinical staff and interns.

Supervise the Clinical Team, assigning responsibilities and identifying training needs for excellent performance.

Foster a positive and collaborative team environment.

Ensure staff members adhere to ethical and professional standards.

Attend regular administrative, staff, and stakeholder meetings.

-Client Care:

Assess and monitor the progress of clients receiving trauma recovery services.

Collaborate with clinical staff to create individualized treatment plans.

Ensure clients receive high-quality, culturally sensitive care.

Provide therapy as needed.

-Community Engagement:

Establish and maintain partnerships with community organizations, healthcare providers, and agencies to support trauma recovery efforts.

Deliver presentations and workshops to community partners, elected officials, and other stakeholders.

Qualifications:

Registered Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW-R) or Licensed Clinical Psychologist. Out-of-state candidates have 2 years to acquire their Florida license.

A minimum of three (3) years of administrative management and clinical supervisory experience at an outpatient clinic.

Extensive clinical experience working with youth, families, and substance users.

Extensive clinical experience working in the Black community and knowledge of culturally-specific and culturally competent practices.

Experience working with trauma survivors from underserved populations, including marginalized communities such as young people of color, individuals experiencing homelessness, chronic mental illness, immigrant and refugee groups, and LGBTQ individuals.

Previous experience in case management, outreach, and home visits.

Collaborative and team-oriented.

Demonstrates strong problem-solving, communication, and leadership skills.

Excellent organizational skills, ability to manage multiple tasks, and meticulous attention to detail.

Computer literacy is required.

Willingness to travel.
