About the Role

Y-mAbs seeks a Research Associate/Senior Research Associate to support our cell-based assay capabilities to screen, characterize, and evaluate drug candidates. This position will join a team of scientists at the NJ R&D Laboratory to help advance new cancer therapeutics from basic concepts to IND-ready pharmaceuticals.

Key Responsibilities

Drive cellular characterization of new drug candidates using flow cytometry.

Routine cell culturing, cell banking, and cell typing.

Follow established assay protocols.

Maintain accurate, detailed, and timely records of samples, experiments, and results.

Work with NJ and DK-based scientists to review, analyze, and interpret results.

Support in lab operations: ordering, shipping, and receiving.

Key Qualifications

Bachelor`s degree in biology/chemistry/Biochemistry (or similar), Master’s degree preferred.

2+ years’ experience in routine mammalian cell culture and cell handling in industry or clinical settings (both suspension and adherent cell types).

Experience with handling blood products, ex-vivo tissue processing, and immune cell isolation is a plus.

1+ year experience with flow cytometry (Attune Nxt preferred) and cell-based binding assays.

Experience with FlowJo and GraphPad Prism.

Demonstrated the ability to communicate complex ideas and datasets in presentations and formal reports.

Demonstrated ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams, meet deadlines, and prioritize multiple projects.

Ability to collaborate effectively across departments and with our team in Denmark.

This position is based in our Nutley, New Jersey laboratory.
