Crossroads4Hope (CR4H) has been improving the lives of people with cancer and their loved ones for more than 23 years. The organization is growing regionally and nationally in response to the increasing unmet needs of individuals affected by the disease. As THE safe space for people facing cancer to turn first to restore their whole being and family, we are on a mission to reduce the burden of cancer on all those affected by closing the gaps in cancer care, especially those living in vulnerable communities. Led by social work principles, most notably social justice, we are experts in patient activation and delivering social and emotional interventions. We move individuals through the health crisis caused by cancer to become activated with the behaviors that enable them to take control of their health and care through access to resources and programs of support, education, well-being, and hope.

The program coordinator ensures the breadth and depth of programs available to all members across the cancer continuum, elevating the quality and scale of the delivery of Crossroads4Hope’s wraparound programs and reflecting cultural humility and respect. In collaboration with the Program & Outreach Manager, the Program Coordinator assists in the development of programmatic content, including education, nutrition, mind-body, and psychosocial interventions, and coordinates the delivery of those programs both virtually and in the community.

Responsibilities:

Coordinates the development of the monthly program calendar.

Engages with various contracted and volunteer professionals to deliver programs that increase our program's credibility, visibility, and reach.

Leverages program data, feedback surveys, and needs assessments to maintain current knowledge of trends and expressed needs & interests among our members.

Works with the marketing team on the development and implementation of program communications to inform and recruit new members.

Qualifications

A bachelor’s degree in a related field (e.g., social work, public health, education within clinical, or one to three years experience within a community-based or clinical setting).

Highly professional and ethical standards for handling confidential information with complete discretion.

Must be flexible and open to changing priorities and needs.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office.

Salary: $32,500.00 per year

Expected hours: 25 per week
