Job Title - Warehouse II
Department – Tracer Diagnostics
Reports to – District Manager
Location – Odessa, TX
Job Summary
This position receives, ships, stores, distributes, inventories, and monitors the flow of material within the warehouse.
Key Areas of Responsibility
Shipping and receiving, loading/unloading trucks, checking in merchandise, and matching purchase orders to sales orders
Process sales orders for shipping
Read customer orders, work orders, shipping orders, or requisitions to determine items to be moved, gathered or distributed and/or shipped
Verify and keep records of incoming and outgoing shipments
Move materials and items from receiving or storage areas to shipping or to other designated areas
Ensure warehouse is accessible and safe for salespeople and customer traffic
Retrieve customer orders from stock and place orders on pallets or shelves, or relocate orders to a holding area or shipping area
Mark materials with identifying information using appropriate method
Record amounts of materials or items received or distributed in ERP system
Inventory Control including cycle counts, full physical inventories, bin audits, and inventory organization
Weigh and count items for distribution within plant to ensure conformance to company standards
May be assigned facilities maintenance duties as needed
Work with Manufacturing and all other departments on scheduling and coordinating
Responsible for transactions of inventory movements domestically and internationally
Support and uphold HS&E policies and procedures of NCS and the customer
Align individual goals with NCS corporate goals, while adhering to the NCS Promise
Participate in your Personal Development for Success (PDS)
Other duties, relevant to the position, shall be assigned as required
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
High School diploma or GED required
Must have 2-4 years of experience
Excellent written and oral communication skills
Proficient with Microsoft Word and Excel
Ability to communicate effectively with NCS employees and management
Ability to recognize problems, identify root cause and create sustainable solutions
Ability to think critically and great attention to detail
Excellent judgment and discretion; ability to handle multiple priorities simultaneously, meet deadlines, and handle work related stress
Technical working knowledge of NCS HSE program, products and procedures
Address mental functions
Handle stressful situations
Ability to understand, remember and apply oral and written instructions
Ability to make decisions which have significant impact on the department’s credibility, operations and services
Ability to organize and prioritize own work schedule on short/long term basis

The ability to wear personal protective gear correctly most of the day
Operations Positions (some manual positions):
Work Environment Regularly works around moving mechanical parts and in outside conditions that include inclement weather, heat and humidity. Noise level may be loud at times.
Physical Demands Must be able to move objects and use abdominal and lower back muscles to provide support over time without fatigue. Constant movement and use of limbs; this position requires good manual dexterity, coordination and stamina.

FLSA Status: Non-Exempt
Work Environment: Safety Sensitive
Work schedule: Full-time, overtime required as needed but not guaranteed; Must have flexible schedule to work weekends and holidays required as needed due to customer needs, etc.
Safety sensitive positions will require additional pre-employment testing
Successful completion of a criminal background check and drug and alcohol screening
Employment contingent on clearance for Employee Possessor by the ATF (For MFG Warehouse roles)
