Job Description

Title: Principal Developer (.NET)

Location: Boston, MA (3 days onsite)

Rate: DOE

Position Summary: You will be a hands on technical lead using technologies like .Net and .Net Core. You'll use your experience to design and build solutions that drive our business into the future like integrating existing systems with other platforms and external systems. This is a hands-on position.

Job Requirements:

6+ years of .NET Framework, WCF Web Services, SQL Server.

Bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent. Master’s a plus.

Analyze, design, code, review, test, deploy and support business facing Web applications and integration solutions

Demonstrated experience designing and building applications and secure web services /SOA, using C#, JavaScript, WCF, ASP.NET, SQL, AngularJS, React, (Java, Lotus Notes, SSRS, SSIS are plus).

Provide technical leadership to internal and offshore team members for developing innovative solutions that move the business

Analyze business requirements and write clear technical specifications to design or redesign complex applications.

Display a high degree of adaptability to learn technologies as needed and successfully handle the daily challenges of a technical environment

Excellent oral and written communication skills

Strong ability to own projects and work with minimal direction

Preferred:

Senior level understanding of OO principals, SOA, Microservices, integration, data serialization, asynchronous and threading patterns, remote debugging.

Expertise designing and building high performant/scalable web applications and secure web services using C#/.Net Core, WCF, WebAPI, REST, SQL, Angular JS.

Ability to create fault tolerant, scalable, and extensible solutions.

TeamCity and Azure pipelines. CI / CD

Azure, IBM iSeries, Java, Lotus Notes, SSRS, SSIS experience is a plus.

Experience working within the Agile Development methodology with the ability to think on your feet and efficiently / creatively problem-solve issues in a fast-paced environment.
