Engineer

Duties: Develop and deploy image, lidar and radar-based perception for our self-driving vehicles. Research and develop neural networks for perception and prediction problems such as object detection, multi-object tracking, instance segmentation, classification, future motion prediction, sensor fusion, traffic light detection, etc. Develop clean software for the perception modules that sit at the core of our autonomous vehicle perception and interface with all other key modules such localization, mapping, and planning. Develop core deep learning codebase for efficient training and testing pipelines. Conduct deep learning experiments, write reports, and file patents. 100% remote work permitted from any U.S. location. Requirements: Master’s degree in electrical and computer engineering, computer science, or a closely related technology/engineering field plus 1 year of industry experience in the following: Machine Learning and Deep Learning algorithms (e.g. for classification, regression, and clustering), Python, AWS and PyTorch or other deep learning frameworks. Salary range: One Hundred Forty Thousand to Two Hundred Six Thousand / year. This position is eligible for employee referral programs.
