CATERING COOK

We are looking for an awesome Catering Cook. They are responsible for preparing a range of foods using a variety of equipment.

Specific day-to-day duties include but are not limited to the following:

Responsible for a variety of food preparation including breakfasts, lunches, hors d'oeuvres, dinners and desserts (vegetables, fruits, meats, cheeses, sauces, etc.).

Produces consistent food quality and portioning.

Maintains and organizes inventory (dry goods, coolers, freezers, etc.).

Assists other team members to maintain a very clean and sanitary kitchen.

Hours vary and some weekend availability is required – but NO NIGHTS.

Other qualities we look for in our Catering Cooks:

1+ years of solid cooking experience that relates directly to the responsibilities listed above. Although culinary school training is not required, it is seen as an asset.

Must be willing and able to work early mornings.

Works great with team members (even when under pressure when the kitchen is busy) to create outstanding food that gets delivered on time.

Realizes that their responsibilities are integral to the kitchen’s success

Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.

Loves food and enjoys having a great time in the kitchen (while still being serious about staying on task and producing delicious food)!
