Ballet School Assistant Director

Ridgefield School of Dance is looking for an assistant director with ballet school experience, is full of enthusiasm, great ideas, enjoys the challenge of social media, ready to tackle assignments, is computer savvy, enjoys people, and is flexible with hours. Bookkeeping experience a plus! Assistant Director will be responsible for a range of tasks, from communications and scheduling to marketing and class schedule and event planning. This person needs to be organized, creative, and detail-oriented, as well as have a passion for dance. Starting with several days/afternoons a week position will expand into a more full time and specific schedule. Applicant should (preferably) live within 30 miles of Ridgefield, CT and be able to get to studio using own transportation. This position has growth potential. Company Description

The Ridgefield School of Dance specializes in classical ballet technique for dancers from 3 year old pre-ballet through pre-professional division. Includes classical ballet, jazz, theatre dance, tap, lyrical, contemporary and fusion dance disciplines. Two performances each year and a summer dance program in addition to classes during the regular school year. This is not a competition dance studio.
