Electronics Assembler

Job Description

Johnson Service Group is currently looking for a IPC610 Power Supply Assembler with 3- 5 years’ experience working in an Aerospace environment. Job opportunity is a Temp-Direct hire job opportunity for an Electronics company in Sun Valley, CA.

Power Supply Assembler

Pay Range - $23/hr

Temp to hire

7:30am – 4:00pm

M-F

Produces the internal boards, bracket assemblies, connector, case assembly and wiring, to the point where it is ready for final processing (staking-marking-potting) prior to submission to final process.

Installs parts or components which require special care in handling and other procedures which demand facility in use of a variety of equipment, hand tools and other machines.

Works with and reads wiring diagrams, blueprints, and bills of material to sub-assemble electronic components.

Makes minor procedural decisions in soldering, fitting, etc., within established guidelines.

Safely uses various hand tools such as heat gun, arbor press, and soldering iron.

Receives detailed instructions on new assignments and general instruction on routine work.

Performs visual and electrical checks.

Prepares transformers prior to installation at final assemble or canning stage.

Properly lays out wires.

Basic knowledge of requirements for soldered electrical and electronic assemblies per J-STD-001

Experience in PCB board thru-hole soldering, read and understand blueprint drawings, can also identify polarities.

Special Skills:

Good mechanical ability and attention to detail.

Advanced knowledge of color code, soldering techniques, and component 1.0.

Ability to safely use hand tools.

Ability to effectively communicate with team members.

Soldering experience is required 3 -7 years

IPC 610 or J-Standard Certifications desired but not required.Company Description
