Client is adding a team of 3 to the Wireless project. This team will walk Walmart stores to test the network connection. Based on issues they will be responsible for troubleshooting and installing cables, or WAPs as needed. Project is starting in Lowell, Arkansas
Scope of work:
Client has won a project installing Wireless Access Points inside Walmart stores across the country. This project is calling for 2 technician teams. Techs will spend 2 to 3 days in the store working 10 hour shifts overnight.
Looking for helpers and leads with experience in CAT5 pulls, termination, and troubleshooting. Experience with Fiber cable both pulling, terminating and putting on connectors. Run cables from switch to AP location, hang APs, hang external omni antennas.
Must have their own basic hand tools
This is a 100% traveling position, technicians will be given a van or rental vehicle
The duration is going through November 2023

125$ a day per diem

Must work well with others, comfortable working on lifts, not afraid of heights

These technicians will need to be self-motivated. The PM's will not be onsite with each tech, they will be out as just the team. They will have to keep their schedule and be on time and get the work done right. These technicians also will need to have

Client's core business has always been nationwide roll-outs for these companies. These roll outs almost always provide our technicians will per diem, transportation and a lot of overtime. On top of paying time and half for every hour worked over 40hrs weekly, Client also pays drive time (aka Windshield time) and it can count towards overtime. So obviously these jobs are most of the time very lucrative for our TP’s.
Client is very loyal to its employees. If you do a good job for them they will work to roll you onto another project and will ask for you back year after year. Eventually it is possible to be brought on directly with Client
