Key Responsibilities

* Lead the design and development of an automated Inventory Planning Engine to forecast demand, optimize inventory levels, and improve inventory turnover.

* Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including data scientists, engineers, supply chain managers, and business stakeholders, to define requirements and prioritize features.

* Drive the integration of data sources, including historical sales data, market trends, and supply chain data, to fuel the Inventory Planning Engine algorithms.

* Develop inventory forecasting models and algorithms that incorporate machine learning techniques to predict demand variability and optimize safety stock levels.

* Implement monitoring and performance tracking mechanisms to evaluate the effectiveness of the Inventory Planning Engine and identify opportunities for improvement.

* Stay informed about industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in inventory management to inform decision-making and drive innovation.

* Champion a culture of continuous improvement and operational excellence to optimize inventory performance and drive business results.
