Key Responsibilities

Supervise and coordinate all production activities to meet production targets and quality standards.

Implement and maintain production schedules and ensure production equipment is operating efficiently.

Troubleshoot and resolve production-related issues promptly.

Ensure strict adherence to safety protocols and regulations to minimize accidents and incidents.

Oversee environmental compliance, including waste disposal, emissions control, and pollution prevention.

Implement safety and environmental training programs for plant personnel.

Monitor and maintain product quality through regular inspections and quality control processes.

Implement quality improvement initiatives to enhance product consistency and customer satisfaction.

Manage the plant's budget, control costs, and optimize resource allocation.

Identify opportunities for cost reduction and operational efficiency improvements.

Recruit, train, and manage plant personnel, including operators, technicians, and support staff.

Foster a positive work environment and promote teamwork and employee development.

Conduct performance evaluations and provide feedback to employees.

Coordinate routine maintenance and repair activities for production equipment and infrastructure.

Ensure that all equipment is properly maintained to minimize downtime.

Stay updated on industry regulations and ensure the plant's compliance with relevant laws and regulations.

Interface with regulatory agencies as necessary

Identify opportunities for process improvement and efficiency enhancements and implement the same.

Prepare regular reports on production, safety, and environmental performance for senior management.

Maintain accurate records and documentation.

Desired Profile

Proven experience within the Lubricants industry or with Chemical exposure.

Strong understanding of petrochemical processes, safety protocols, and environmental regulations.

Understanding of mechanical and electrical subsystems would help from a maintenance perspective.

Experience in handling the Blue collared workers & Gov’t Department Inspectors is mandatory.

Should be fluent in spoken and written English. Additionally, knowledge of Kannada language is preferred.

Well versed with Computer skills such as Email, Excel and other online tools are a must.

Age group 45 -50 Yrs
