Job Purpose

This position will work closely with the Sales Department, providing technical analysis on wind resource assessment, AEP calculations and site-specific layout or product optimization recommendations. This position will be also driving the internal process optimization as well as new method and tool development.

Key Responsibilities

Be the main responsible to discuss and align with customer for projects in India.

Responsible for most optimized offers for customer projects regarding Wind and Site assessment, Site Suitability, AEP and overall optimization

Discuss with customer and guide customer to optimized solution.

Collaborate with different departments providing best understanding on site specific Wind Resource and Loads Assessment to Sales and Customers

Provide guidance on Layout and Product Optimization possibilities.

Conduct Wind Flow modeling, AEP calculation and Site Suitability Assessment

Understand and review Site Suitability Assessments (including Loads Enhancement Strategies with aim on AEP maximization and LCOE reduction)

Support Fleet Performance Optimization tasks.

Improve the tool chain and processes for Micro siting (Wind&Site, Site Suitability and Optimization) and communication with the customer.

Analyze and define new methods and implement them in the process.

Power Curve, Grid Codes, Electrical Protection, BOP

WRA Tools (like WAsP, Windographer, WindPro etc)

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

Advanced analytical and problem-solving skills.

Ability to focus on fulfillment of execution targets, with flexibility to change direction on demand.

Experienced in wind turbine and site-specific load assessments.

Experienced in wind resource assessment and its impact on wind turbine structure, performance and operation.

IT Skills

Microsoft Office, Coding (pref. python), WRA (e.g. WindPro), Basics in Aeroelastic Load Simulation (e.g. Flex5, Bladed)
