Graphic Designer
The Graphic Designer will be part of the Research Publishing team and a strong contributor to projects from clients and Acuity’s internal teams. You will work closely with the Research Publishing team and clients to understand requirements around communicating to a range of stakeholders and develop high-quality content, including products related to DTP/formatting using the MS Office application.
Main responsibilities
Creating marketing collateral (presentations, whitepapers, case studies, blogs, brochures, logos, etc.)
Designing reports, word and emailer templates, and one- or two-page collaterals (magazine design)
Creating banners/backgrounds for events and conferences
Creating colour palettes and visualizing templates for products such as reports, presentations and brochures
Creating graphics/infographics/vectors as needed
Creating new sections for website/intranet (knowledge of HTML would be a plus)
Assisting the supervisor in tasks/assignments such as developing/executing new procedures/processes and diagnosis of problems/client issues

Should be crisp and clear in communication with clients and the internal team and work as an interface between the team and the client-counterpart
Should be able to coordinate with overseas clients, understand requirements, and direct the existing DTP team with design requirements/ideas when needed
Required skills
Experience of over 3 years
A degree in fine arts/commercial arts/other relevant diploma is preferable but not an absolute must
Knowledgeable in Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator and Photoshop are a must; Dreamweaver, CorelDraw, Premier Pro, Audition and After Effects are a plus)
Knowledgeable in MS Office Applications (PowerPoint, Word and Excel are a must)
Knowledge in Prezi, JavaScript, HTML, Flash and MySQL would be a plus
