Overview

We are seeking a talented and experienced Lead Java Developer to lead our development team in designing and implementing high-quality software solutions. The Lead Java Developer will play a pivotal role in driving the technical direction of projects, mentoring team members, and ensuring the successful delivery of Java-based applications. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Java/J2EE development, expertise in Spring framework, experience with microservices architecture, and a passion for leading and inspiring a team towards excellence.

Responsibilities

Lead a team of Java developers in designing, developing, and maintaining robust and scalable software solutions.

Provide technical leadership and guidance to team members, ensuring adherence to best practices and coding standards.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand project requirements and translate them into technical specifications and architecture designs.

Drive the development of microservices-based applications using Java/J2EE technologies and Spring framework.

Architect and implement solutions for complex business requirements, ensuring performance, scalability, and security.

Lead code reviews, ensuring code quality, performance, and maintainability.

Mentor junior developers, fostering their growth and development within the team.

Stay updated on emerging technologies and industry trends, recommending innovative solutions to enhance product capabilities.

Collaborate with stakeholders to prioritize features, plan releases, and ensure timely delivery of software solutions.

Participate in Agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives.

Qualifications

6 to 18 years of experience in Java/J2EE development

Proficiency in Java programming language and related technologies (Spring, Hibernate, etc.).

Strong understanding of microservices architecture and experience with building microservices-based applications.

Experience with RESTful web services, SOAP, and other communication protocols.

Familiarity with front-end technologies such as Ember.js, Angular, React, or Vue.js is a plus.

Solid understanding of software development lifecycle, Agile methodologies, and DevOps practices.

Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.

Ability to multitask, prioritize tasks, and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
