For this new and exciting chapter of Varex, we are looking for highly motivated people to help us to succeed in our business operations in India.

We are looking for an Application System Engineer for our flat panel detector business in Visakhapatnam. This position will collaborate with the team in the Salt Lake City and is expected to work within the same working hours as the rest of the team.

The role of the applications team is to help new customers integrate Varex products into the customers systems. We do this by providing technical support to our customer’s engineering team that is doing this integration. This involves helping the customer use our software API to interface to the detector and helping the customer develop the hardware synchronization between the detector and the generator.

Your Role

Provide Technical Expertise through sales presentations, product demonstrations and maintanence of company products.

Assist the sales staff in assessing potention applications of company products to meet customer needs

Building mini applications to demostrate feasibility of the customer requirements

Provide software development and consultation to prospective users and help our customers develope the SW interface with our detector.

Help the customer troubleshoot issues with the interface between our detector and their system

Act as an interface between the customer’s technical team and the Varex technical team

Your Profile

A degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science or equivalent

5 years' experience working in Medical Industry

Excellent communication skills in English

Cross-functional collaboration with different teams, and stakeholders globally

Experience working with radiographic and fluoroscopic medical systems
