ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES

Coordination with the various EPC contractors for ensuring optimization of engineering as per Industry’s prudent practices /standards/regulations.

Site analysis, site feasibility reports, preparation of primary BOM, evaluation of BOM as per site/customer requirement.

Review design, SLD, layout & drawings – array layout, cable route, Inverter stations, sizing calculations – cable/earthing/lighting/lightning equipment’s – GA/GTP/Schematic/QAP

Design of electrical SLD, plant layout & drawings using AutoCAD, detailed equipment specification. Preparing BOM/BOQ, SLD & Electrical design. Design independently.

Technical Evaluation for Solar inverters, cables, etc if required.

Carry out design of LV/MV & HV system/Sub Station & selection of components.

Securing Approvals from Consultants / Customers.

Erection, Commissioning and Operation of Solar PV plants.

Co-ordination with Sales/Mktg/BD, Procurement and Project Management teams.

JOB SPECIFICATIONS:

Essential Qualification : BE (Electrical)

Desirable Qualification/Skills : Same as above

Experience : 8-10 Years of which at least 5 years in solar PV

CRITICAL COMPETENCIES OF THE JOB:

Good Technical knowledge of Electrical & Electronics components and its applicability.

Interpersonal Skills and Team Work.

Result Oriented.

Proficiency in MS Office is a must. Must have good knowledge of AutoCAD.

Very strong technical knowledge on Solar PV, LT/HT Side, Switched Yard and Substation.

Open, positive attitude, goal oriented & flexible.

Good Communication & Presentation Skills.

Interpersonal & Influential Skills.

System Design with PV Syst.

EXPERIENCE/ EXPOSURE:

Experience in Utility Scale Solar PV Ground mounted projects.

Latest information about the new products likevarious types of Solar Inverters, Inverter duty transformers, Switch Gears, MMS etc

Familiarity with IEC/IEEE/BIS/State regulations/CEIG requirements for designing Electrical components.

Thorough knowledge of Solar Plant, PV panels, Solar Inverters, DC & AC Cabling, loss calculation, Cable sizing, Switch Yard, Transformer.

Designing of solar Power Plant / Sub Station / Switch Yard / HT + LT Components, protection system.

Good knowledge of Quality aspects.
