Job Description
Responsibilities
Analyze external client employee payroll data utilizing an internal program
Work remotely with client payroll specialists to develop custom payroll reports from their payroll system
Run payroll reports on a per payroll cycle basis to determine benefits eligibility
Lead discussions and collaborate with insurance brokers and employers regarding analysis results
Work with TEAMates to improve processes
Work as a member of the client service TEAM that supports distributors, insurance brokers and employer
Qualifications for Payroll Specialist
Associate's or bachelor's degree in business or accounting preferred
Strong experience in various payroll systems
Proven experience in a payroll position in a fast-paced environment required
Strong knowledge of tax and wage laws
Good understanding of the common fiscal procedures
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Strong computer literacy in Microsoft Office applications, expert in MS Excel
Exceptional multitasking and organizational skills
Able to work effectively with minimal supervision
Physically able to work seated in front of a computer for long hours at a timeCompany Description
